if the power is supplied by the car cigarette lighter when plugged backlight is light up and all the contents (including the time temperature and volt) will be displayed on the LCD screen. if the power is supplied by the backup battery when unplugged there is no backlight and LCD screen will display the time outdoor & indoor temp.

Key-press functions
1. “TIME” Key: switchover between time and date press “TIME” Key for 2 seconds to enter the time setting status.
2. “ALM ” Key: display the alarm time press “ALM ” Key for 2 seconds to enter the alarm setting status.
3. “UP” Key: Upward key +1 under alarm setting status press “UP” Key to turn on/off the alarm sound.
4. “SNZ” Key: Set snooze
5. “DOWN ℃ / ℉” Key: Downward key – 1 switchover between ℃ / ℉ press “DOWN ℃ / ℉” Key for 2 seconds to turn on the outdoor Freeze – aler
